World Thinking Day

On Saturday, the girls went to "World Thinking Day" for Girl Scouts. The goal: to think and learn about the people in other countries. Each troop chose a different country to present. Each troop made a craft and a dish for their country. The girls brought 100 pennies each, and bought crafts and foods from other troops/countries.

There were a lot of girls there.

Natalie's troop chose Japan and Kendall's troop chose Egypt.

Natalie's troop made "sushi" out of rice crispy treats, Fruit-by-the-Foot, and Gummy worms for their dish. They also had Japanese cheesecake. For their craft, they made Japanese-style fans.

Kendall's troop made Egyptian butter cookies for their dish. For the craft, they made bookmarks.
The girls had a ton of fun working their booths, visiting other booths, and buying crafts from other countries. The learned a lot too.
